Most Effective Bass Fishing Lures

One of the best bass fishing lures of all time has to be the plastic worm. The plastic worm has probably caught more fish than any other kind of bait out there. The plastic worm lets you skim for fish or you can bottom fish as well with these handy lures.

The plastic worm comes in sizes from 3 inches to over 10 inches long. They are available in array of colors. What ever the size or color you choose they all do the same thing and that is catching bass. They can be rigged different ways to make it more interesting when trying to catch the big one!

Another well known popular lure is a Crank-bait. They take a similar look to a crawfish. These handy little lures will work in all types of water conditions. This is one reason why there so popular.

Spinner-baits are known to catch a great deal of bass and they are very good bait for covering a lot of water quickly to find fish. In addition they tend to catch much larger bass than other lures on the market. They vary in style and come in an assortment of blades, colors and sizes.

Still used all around the world and arguably the best lure ever is the jig and pig.

A large percentage of your tournaments today are won by using jigs and pigs for the fact that they will bring in the big ones. This kind of lure resembles the crawfish when working from the bottom. We all know bass love them some crawfish.

The buck-tail Jig is your basic common fishing lure designed specifically to catch bass. This lure is so effective at catching bass; many survival kits include this lure and have saved many lives. Some of these come in a straight line and others come in a corkscrew type configuration. This lure catches bass under a wide assortment of conditions and very well could be your best friend if you find yourself in a tricky situation.

Another very popular and excitement filled lure is a Topwater plug. The bass are known to dive out of the water for this one. The splashing of the water will give you an all around thrill. You can bet you will be reaching for this lure more and more often do to its excitement. These lures are available in all kinds of sizes and colors.

Tailspinners are great for catching deep water bass. They are excellent at enticing the bass out of the deep and the bass will be hard pressed to resist having one of these for lunch.

It is clear that fishing lure's for bass are just as various as the types and sizes of bass waiting to be caught yearly by fishermen who enjoy a good challenge every year.
